Deep Listening is a casual community listening session where guests are invited to share records they love and hear them on the Moondog HiFi sound system. Whether it's a longtime favorite, a recent discovery, or an album with a story behind it, all genres and selections are welcome.

Come early for Happy Hour from 5–7PM, meet fellow music lovers, enjoy cocktails, and spend the evening discovering great records together. No DJs, no agenda: just good music, good company, and attentive listening.

Every Wednesday, we open the doors at 5pm – time to settle in with food and drinks, and let the day slowly fall away.

Around 7pm, a rotating trio or quartet takes the room for a proper concert set. By 9pm, the lights get warmer and the jam begins, musicians dropping in, trading solos, stretching things out together until midnight.

OpenDeck is taking over Moondog HiFi every third Thursday for a monthly residency, bringing open decks, good people, and music from 8PM–2AM.

Vinyl spins inside while CDJs keep the patio moving outside. As always, the OpenDeck rules apply: phones away, people dancing. Come to hear your favorite track, stay for something new.

DJs can claim a 30-minute CDJ or 1-hour vinyl slot through OpenDeck. Vinyl sets will be recorded and streamed on Moondog Radio, while CDJ artists receive audio from their set. Slots are limited, so get on the waitlist and keep an eye on @theopendeck for your spot.

Lower East Record Club, the East Village vinyl collective that began as a YouTube channel nearly two years ago, has since grown into a thriving event series and now lands at Moondog Hifi. Expect eclectic dance music from afar, spanning Brazil to Taiwan, alongside local gems from near and dear. Dancing shoes recommended, Record Club regulars Evan Ranking Saez, Kimby, and Silk will be keeping the energy high all night.

Lauren Ritter and Camilla take over the Moondog booth for a night built around deep grooves, left-field selections, and records that reward a little attention. Expect a fluid mix of house, disco, electronic cuts, and unexpected gems, with both selectors bringing their own sense of rhythm and taste to the room.

No rush, no rules — just good music, a great soundsystem, and a dancefloor that unfolds as the night goes on.
