From 6–9 PM, Grella will lead a conversation on Moondog’s singular place in American music history, drawing connections between his work and the evolution of minimalist composition. Every Wednesday, we open the doors at 5pm – time to settle in with food and drinks, and let the day slowly fall away.

Around 7pm, a rotating trio or quartet takes the room for a proper concert set. By 9pm, the lights get warmer and the jam begins, musicians dropping in, trading solos, stretching things out together until midnight.

Bumrush45 and Moondog HiFi host the official VinylCon pre-party. Strictly Sevens means an all-vinyl, all-45s session featuring sets from DJ Center, Snips, Quinnette, and Suce. It's happening at Bushwick's hi-fi listening bar and it's completely free.

Truce Recordings brings its community-driven approach to Moondog for an evening of deep grooves, soulful house, and dancefloor storytelling featuring Drewandu, Prince, and Bev. Rooted in New York’s underground scene, Truce has built a reputation for thoughtfully curated events that celebrate the lineage and spirit of house music while creating space for connection on the dance floor. Drewandu and Bev are known for balancing deep, minimal, and soulful sounds with an adventurous musical range, while Prince rounds out the night with selections that keep the energy flowing from start to finish.

A celebrated selector, collector, and champion of vinyl culture, Skeme Richards brings his signature blend of soul, funk, disco, hip-hop, and rare groove gems, while Sky Society rounds out the night with deep cuts and dancefloor-ready selections. Together, they’ll take listeners on a journey through the sounds and stories that make record collecting an enduring art form.

Love Language brings the spirit of Mexico City’s celebrated Café de Nadie to Moondog for an evening of adventurous selections and deep musical exploration. A resident of the renowned listening bar, Love Language is known for weaving together Balearic grooves, disco oddities, soul, funk, and leftfield dance music with a collector’s touch and an open-minded approach to curation. Their sets move effortlessly between intimate listening moments and dancefloor energy, guided by mood, texture, and discovery rather than genre boundaries.
